We Shall Run

This is the new workings of The Jury Disagree, recorded in the attic of guitarist Mick Hendron. The song came together very quickly so we decided to use the momentum we had to sit down and record the track. The song features a new direction for the band but as the members influences grow no doubt the music will too.

The Jury Disagree

Formed in early 2011. We are a three piece acoustic band consisting of two acoustic guitars and 3 part vocal harmonies. We arrange a wide variety of acoustic covers with the addition of the 3rd part harmony to add our own dynamic on said covers. We also play our own original material which can be describe as an alternate take on the grunge style mixed with some progressive elements also. Starting as three friends we came together out of sheer passion for playing music and amalgamated each of our own individual styles and techniques to develope a more personal sound. With our rythmn guitarist (Jordan Marshall) coming from more of a heavy metal/grunge/prog background, and our lead guitarist (Mick Hendron) deriving from a quite melodic and instrumental folk background we have been working together to create a balance between the styles. Our lead singer (Peter Dawson) adds the third dimension being the director of the lead and backing vocal melodies. Coming from a grunge/singersongwriter background his influences are based around the greats such as Eddie Vedder and Layne Staley with a touch of Irelands own Damien Rice and Glen Hansard. He likes nothing more than expermentation and to push his own creative boundaries. Together we are The Jury Disagree!
